I looked a little while ago and it was a big $ jump from HD to 4K, even in modest size screens

I love the look of Mac screens and wonder what would be the equivalent for a PC.

I have pretty much stuck with Samsung until my last monitor which is LG and seems good enough (~$270 for 27" so it's pretty cheap gaming)

What I did find though is that my old 24" Samsung in 1920 x 1200 and the 27" LG is 1920 x 1080. So, side by side the old Samsung seems a fair bit higher res but the new LG (LED) is so vibrant and bright!

Gamers need 1ms response times, 144hz on a 2k monitor. That's what I would get.

4k monitors need powerful GPUs so a lot of money.

Something like a AOC AG271QX: 1440p 144Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor would be sweet.
