Wow indeed......blind sided by that and I am an internode customer. Not even an email today. I wonder what this will mean to their plans....
nothing as far as their announcement goes. They will operate as seperate companies .. for the time being.
It may make plans cheaper if they use the buying power of iinet to get better deals.
hows this ... internode buy capacity from pipe networks (among others)
pipe networks is owned by tpg.
tpg have a large amount of iinet shares
iinet will soon own internode
round and round we go.
so tpg get revenue from pipe for products it sells to its own investments lol.
