Couple of questions;
* what's the best server to play on?
* a clanmate tells me you have to pay for skins, tracks and cars.. is that true? (Internode has heaps here: http://games.on.net/filelist.php?app=815&menu=2... and by the way, 'node has the full game as a file for download, is it free? I bought it damnit! :unsureabout)
* is it entirely online or can I set up bot-matches?
EDIT: I can see this forum has been dead for quite some time. I'm hoping there are still some racers amongst you!

k just saw this, im a bit slow.
racing with rFactor, youll need to join communities. there are a few depending on what you like to drive.
im an admin at simracingaustralia[SRA] and run the thursday night series. we run openwheelers, in about 2 weeks our indycar series is kicking off.
we race tintops on monday nights and are currently running the
we pay for the server on monday night, our thursday night server and teamspeak are sponsored by hostile contact gaming servers in the usa. pings are a little high, but it doesnt impact on racing.
our forums
http://forum.simracingaustralia.com/index.php
our website
rfactorleague.simracingaustralia.com
youll need to join up to both.
XGN host tintops on wednesday nights i think with the the theme as historic touring cars, F1 races on a sunday.
The reason you join these communities, is so that you can race people that actually want to race, not the crashers. id avoid any public server and join a community or two to race with.
Next monday night series
"We have decided that due to the excellent racing throughout the field with the GT2 Series, that we will be using this mod and class in the next series.
We will use the 2.75 update which will be posted during the week.
If you already have this update downloaded, DO NOT install it untill after the current series is finished ( Unless you have multi rfactor installs )
It will be called the The Monday Factor Australian GT2 Championship
It will be on these tracks ( Testing permitting ) and not necessarily in this order:
Adelaide ( 1988 version )
Phillip Island
Sandown
Eastern Creek
Bathurst
Sydney
Townsville
Hidden Valley
Car choice will be that you cannot choose the same MAKE of car that you are using in this series.
( that means if you are using a Porsche now, you can't use any Porsche in this new series )
We will also be using the current F1 Qualifying system ( again testing permitting )
3 sessions
1st session all out cutting back to top 20
2nd session cutting back to top 10
last session top 10 with race package loaded
I will put proper links up to the tracks over the next week and you make use your own paintjobs again.
So start your painting and testing guys.
Series dates to be announced soon."

Proudly present the
RFL 1995 Cart Season Armageddon America series.
No one can argue that two of the best seasons in Indycar racing and AOWR history were 94 and 95 seasons. For those who might not know, these cars had turbo charged engines, over 850 HP, top speeds of 240 m/h and raced in every type of track, road courses, temporary courses, ovals, super speedways and the mighty Indianapolis 500 race.
