OzF rFactor history and future
« on: February 10, 2008, 10:23:41 AM »
started of with
the x-racer indie series on ovals,to get everyone used to racing.great series, awesomly close racing.short series.6 races

v8 v 1.0 series in Australia.awesome series enjoyed by most.12 races

fbmw in europe,great fun,but only 8 drivers on average.8 race .

porsche fabcar restyle in America.12 races

next
[tba openwheelers], after consultation with Sped and Mactec.tracks to be requested by those racing.

the idea was to have each series in a different part of the world so once the final series [tba openwheelers] was ready to be run,we would all have a great repotoire[?] of tracks to race.
this will make it easy for future series and events, suggested by anyone.all we have to do is download the mod.

after the final series is run[tba openwheelers],we have raced all the mods we have tested to date.
we can then spend a month testing new mods[which could cause numbers to drop]
or we could have a group meeting on ventrillo,as to what[mods] and where[tracks] we want to race.
was thinking after the [tba openwheelers],we could have a 2 mod/race sunday nights.
As suggested ,say a traditonal mod, followed by something different[trucks/gocarts/dirt racing etc.
2x 15 lap races.

I have tested a few different mods with our post fabcar series in mind, but I am still unsure of all of them. I think that the Formula Nippon mod offers good "drivebility". I will put together a short list of mods and we can test them all in one night, try to decide what ever is best for the prosperity of our league.

Yeah I think we should be choosing out of the following options;

2005 Toyota Atlantics (Champ Car entry series)
Armaroli World Cup (these look like the A1GP cars)
Formula Nippon 2007
F3 Eurostylers 2007
GP2 Series (F1 entry series)

I think we should not try a full F1 mod after the Fabcars as it would be too difficult for some of the less experienced drivers to get the hang of. Heck, they are too difficult for me.  :shiner
